MEET MENASHE SOPHER Menashe Sopher was born in Bombay, India, to which location his family had moved from Baghdad in 1860. In 1967, he left India and went to live in London, moving again to Johannesburg, South Africa, in 1979. He made aliyah with his family in June 1993 and the Sophers currently live at Telshe-Stone (Kiryat Y'earim), which is about six-and-a-half miles outside Yerushalayim on the road to His airport and limousine transport service is unique in that it provides English speakers with the polite reliable type of service they are accustomed to.
